Primary Service Learning
Visit to Butterfly Kingdom – Kinder
The Kinder students had the opportunity to take a field trip to Butterfly Kingdom as part of their unit of inquiry called Taking Care of Natural Resources. This also served as a way to start their service learning project which will be a butterfly garden. During this field trip they investigated the butterfly life cycle, the needs of a butterfly, and different plants that attract them.
Next, students will do research on how to take care of those plants, and Kinder parents will be invited to help build the butterfly garden with the students. Additionally, they will have a visit from an expert in this area to help them create this habitat. Once this project is done, you will be welcome to visit the butterfly garden.
Secondary Service Learning
Visiting Nursing Home Residents – 10th Grade
Out 10th grade students contributed to their community by sharing time and fun activities with elderly people. They performed typical dances and played games with these community members, bringing some joy and entertainment to them. This was a great experience for our students as they learned through serving others!
PAS Festival - Circus Edition
On Saturday, November 17th, we had the Grand Finale of our sports festival: PAS Festival – Circus Edition.
The activities started at 8 am with Mister’s Race and were followed by games for the children, sports activities, canopy, stilt walkers, clowns making balloons, face painting, hairstyles and much more.
We had a wonderful time, eating and sharing with family and friends.
Our school vibrated with music, magic, colors and fun!
On November 16, as part of the celebration of PAS Festival, students and staff enjoyed the great Monster Jam.
NHS concert was much more than an ordinary show. We didn’t just go to listen to music and see great artists, but also the 37 artists became a part of PAS music history.
